There are no diagrams so I have no idea where exactly on the property they are building it.

I would think it would have to be replacing an existing business on site. Maybe TD is closing, or possibly they are tacking on an addition to the bank as well as downsizing the bank itself?

My thinking is that because this is a site plan application (and not a building permit yet), that it would involve construction of a new building … we usually do not see site plan applications filed just for a reno of an existing building/unit. Now whether the LCBO will be a new building somewhere on the parking lot or as you said an addition to an existing building remains to be seen.

In looking at the maps again, the No Frills and Goodlife is 925 Southdale W, all the other business have different Southdale or Colonel Talbot addresses, so this leads me to wonder if No Frills is either renovating to add an LCBO, or is the Goodlife downsizing or closing?

There is a gap between both buildings. Maybe they’re gonna fill that in with the LCBO.?

I had thought of that, but that would block out the access to the receiving areas for Shoppers and No Frills.

I found this on the city page from last summer. Related maybe?

I think there’s access on the left-hand side of no-frills

Yes, you need both access to get into either location. You go in one side and out the other, depending on which store and dock you are going to

Speaking of No Frills, the new outlet on Hyde Park Road (where the Memory Lane Antiques shop used to be) opened yesterday. Very small compared to most full-scale grocery stores, but seems to offer a similar variety. I wonder how much it will negatively impact Mona's Farms on the left side, and Giant Tiger on the right side. The former is also a (Middle Eastern) Grocery store, whereas the latter is one third groceries, one third discount apparel, and one third everything else.

Alot of site prep has been happening at the NE corner of VMP and 401. These lands have seen alot of earth moving. Don't remember if this a future City Industrial Park or a private developer like Dancor.

There was just a news story a week or so ago mentioning this was another phase of whatever the city calls that whole industrial park. I did mention this a few weeks ago, perhaps in another thread, that a lot of earth was being moved around this area but wasn't sure if it was someone specific or a general prep for land sale.

Djeffery is correct... this will be phase 5 of the city's Innovation Park industrial subdivision.

A contract was awarded by Council back in February for the following work:
• Clearing and grading the site;
• New extension of sanitary sewers;
• New stormwater management facility and stormwater piping;
• New watermain extension;
• Installation of new right turn lane off Bradley Avenue;
• Installation of new road, complete with curbs, gutters, and sidewalks;
• Expansion of London Hydro electrical servicing; and
• Installation of new street lighting.

So I'd assume that once the city finishes this work, they will start selling off the individual parcels to interested companies

Looks like they have finished the foundation footings for the retail building on the NW corner of Westdell Bourne and Oxford. Structural steel being delivered today. The new Wendys has the exterior wall structure up and framing for the windows and doorways.

Ronald McDonald House plans to double in size after donation. Will be interesting to see the renders of where they intend to build the expansion.

Have now got the building wrap on the new Chic-Fil-A on Richmond St across from Masonville Mall. Should see the masonry contractor soon to start the brick installation.

No progress on the new building north of Huron St facing the VMP. Must still be having issues with the foundation as the structural steel has been on site for a while now.

No they are just waiting for us to start setting up the building. We are playing catchup with a lot of buildings because the tariffs delayed a lot of them but we are starting that one which will be for Givens on June 9. We are currently finished throwing up a building in aylmer and we are working on a building we erected for Southwold township in Fingal. It’s just been a mess and we are only a crew of 12 guys aha so it’s been a crazy last 2 months.

Structural steel and roofing now up for the retail building beside the future Wendy's at Westdell Bourne and Oxford. The Wendy's is still getting the insulation and building wrap installed on the exterior walls. BRL Construction has this contract as well.
