I thought WS already flew to LGA, at least they did at one time. I could have sworn I took WS to YYC-LGA in the past at least a couple of times. This would have been around 2012 and 2014.

From YYZ, WS used to fly to LGA, in the past. From YYC, they fly to JFK.

Not loving the arrival time in LIM from Montreal, though. Wonder why they couldn't push back the departure from Montreal a bit, similar to YYZ.

I mean, they could very easily tow to a remote stand and wait it out for a later departure. The plane will end up laying over 5 and a half hours in LIM anyway. Might as well do 3 of those hours in Montreal….. but what do I know.

Jeddy1989 is coming home from Lisbon for a week. They flew to Paris to catch the direct flight.









He reports quite a few Newfoundlanders on the flight, but LOTS of other languages.

EDIT: They're getting close.





EDIT: Flight from St-Pierre et Miquelon is going through customs at YYT at the same time as the flight from Paris. Jeddy1989 reports the people from both flights are excitedly chatting with each other in French.

Edit: It was the first. Via YYT on FB - they got the water arch when landing.

On a separate note, SAS are extending YYZ-CPH service from summer seasonal to nearly year-round. Will operate for 50/52 weeks with only a brief suspension during the doldrums of January.

I know Air Canada / Air Transat / Porter have daily flights ✈️between Montreal YUL & Quebec City YQB.

I’m just wondering, has anyone tried the Orleans Express bus service between Montreal & Quebec City & what their service is like? On their website it mentions they have 15 daily bus departures from Montreal to Quebec City & it takes 3hrs (with a few rest stops along the way). https://www.orleansexpress.com/en/bus-travel/montreal-centre-ville-quebec-centre-ville-bus/

Porter don't actually flying YQB-YUL, but Air Inuit and PAL do! I've done the Orleans Express once between the two cities. It was alright. Just your average motor coach bus ride.

Bus services get viewed with such disdain. But given how much of Canada has prioritized highway infrastructure, they're actually not a bad option to connect cities and modes.

It’s actually great! More reliable and frequent than ViaRail, comfortable, on time, clean, wifi works great. It’s used by lots of business people.

USA still going down in numbers but clearly not surprising...
hopefully we can make up during the summer months ... they do estimate 22.8 million for 2025 but we shall see what JUNE, JULY, AUGUST and SEPTEMBER will bring... hopefully 23 million.

Finally ! A month with positive growth overall.

Look at that domestic increase! Pretty impressive for YUL. International increase retuned to normal as well, after a pretty unimpressive Q1. Transborder is no surprise.

Interesting read. Thanks for the link. Glad to see mining companies and the Quebec government trying to find a solution to replace those gravel runways. They have to, as those 732s can’t keep flying forever.

Air Canada this month filed additional changes to its planned Trans-Atlantic operation. Planned service resumption to Israel (from Toronto) once again postponed to September 2025 at earliest, instead of June 2025. As a result, the airline is reassigning the aircraft to Athens and Paris, which will see up to 12 weekly flights during peak season.

Looks like T’Way Air Seoul ICN- Vancouver YVR - ICN flights ✈️for (S25) season is loaded from July 12- October 25 with 4x weekly service Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays & Thursdays operated by the Airbus A330✅.

Winter season nothing loaded yet, but there’s still time for T’Way Air to do it as it gets closer, (if) the ICN- YVR route is going well for them✅.
