So anecdotal based on biased, got it. Teslas are the safest cars on the road, seems to be smart decision to drive yourself and family in the safest car on the road. Again what stats or evidence do you have that people driving Teslas on average are much dumber than other drivers besides your personal bias?

Your article doesn't account for miles driven. NHTSA data lists Teslas as 5 star rating.

If you’d bother to read the link I very clearly posted you would get corroboration to my claim that Tesla DRIVERS are generally dumber than most (I.E. cause the most accidents, some of the highest DUI rates). I didn’t say anything about the safety of the cars themselves.

I skimmed the article. Driving fast doesn't necessarily make someone dumber. Buying a safe car does make someone smarter. The article says Tesla drivers are statistically dumber? I didn't see that in the article. I'll admit over trusting autopilot can have a negative effect on accidents for sure, but that stat will reverse in a year since (supervised) FSD is EXTREMLY good now. So are you saying if Teslas have less incidents in a year, the drivers IQs increased?

Yes, buying a safe car (or any car) and driving it poorly makes you stupid. And, according to the study within the article, Tesla drivers do this more than the drivers of any other manufacturer.

Just to be clear, you're saying that not operating a vehicle safely, as in driving it fast, doesn't make one dumber? I hope not because that would really undermine your argument that Tesla drivers are smart.

I would also go on to say that if you rely on your car to drive for you you're not that bright. You're expecting a machine to make better decisions and have better judgement than you?

Sorry the fuc$ I posted the picture. I posted because I actually came up on it running and was personally affected by it. Did NOT mean for it to turn into an obtuse debate based on blinded bias, subjective prejudice options with wild, unfounded internet accusations. All of which are unrelated to the crash.

Now the simple and most likely scenario is a CAR was being driven at excessive speed by an irresponsible driver and ran a red light hitting the truck, killing 2 young people.

So to try and push us from cars (intelligence) back to Atlanta pictures. Today Waymo opened up Early Access reservations in ATL. So here is a Picture of the 65 sq mi of Atlanta it will initially cover.

I'll try and run Thursday, take some poor artistic quality pictures and post one here.

I actually like teslas and don't have a problem with them or their owners. I was simply making light of the situation. My personal bias is against nissan altima and dodge charger/challenger drivers.

We appreciate your running pics, Julien. Keep em coming.

I'm saying your logic is wrong. I would say there are 2 reasons the incident rate may be higher is; instant torque acceleration and the newness of self driving tech whenever the data is compiled. That is not the equivalent of the drivers being dumber. If it was, WHEN incident rates drop (which they will) if you tracked the advancement of FSD then somehow miraculously Tesla drivers become the smartest drivers. Is that what you're saying or only that incident rates are an indication of being dumb? I would bet if a Corolla accelerated like a Tesla if would have similar incident rates.

You don't seem to be paying attention to the tech, automous driving WILL be safer then human driver in less than year. It basically has 8 eyes (cameras), can make instantaneous decisions, doesn't get tired, DUIs. There is a clear path to them being safer. Maybe you should go back to a horse and buggy, you'll get into less crashes and be super smart!

Nice wide angle shot. That area is primed and ready for a few towers.

And talk about erosion control.
