The storm finally arrived. Flurries outside, for the past hour or so. It's not even sticking on top of parked vehicles yet, and certainly not on the ground, but a video showing the second floor and above you would think was filmed in February.
We hit 13C today in the GTA, at 7 pm, but it was a gradual rise through the day. Earlier in the day it was raining cats and dogs (around 2 pm, and again at 4:30 pm, I was completely soaked in the latter shower)

+4C and light rain in Moncton at 8 AM, only getting up to +6C this afternoon.
No below zero temperatures in the long range, but, there seems to be a greater seasonal delay this year than usual. The winter was pretty benign in Moncton, but, seems to have difficulty in letting go.

The tree canopy has really greened up here over the weekend, and tulips and cherry trees are in full bloom. Still seems a little late this year compared to average.

Drove through the mountains the last couple of days from Edmonton to Vancouver vua CA Calgary. Weather was OK , lots of wind and we mis missed the worst of the weather. Some rain and snow showers, new snow high up the Koke. But trees are leafing out from Revelstoke west. Gorgeous sunny day yesterday for the crossing to Victoria.. and had the first of many deck beer this week. Cherry blossoms are still blooming and the weather for the week looks great. Will post photos later.

Why complain about the weather? Its always going to be here. You on the other hand will not.
It's lovely. Local film Skeet is doing very well (it's about a typical skeet who gets out of jail and returns to a St. John's neighbourhood now dominated by Syrian refugees. One of the actors is Syria's most famous - just the highlight of that community's accidental inclusion when the filmmaker went there to shoot a story that originally didn't involve their community at all. It's such a great movie! Highly recommend if Cineplex expands it to the mainland.)
