EDIT: Update on the crackhouse across from me. The whole house isn't yet occupied, but a bay couple has moved into at least one unit downstairs. It could be a father/daughter, but likely a married couple - just he's aged much harder. I'd say probably 60 but cane, big pot belly on typically strong local legs. And she's got the 1980s lesbian bay girl hairstyle, you just know she wears a hairnet wherever it is she works. They're vulgar, loud, love old Irish/country music, but seem kind, normal, not into drugs. I'm very hopeful!
The other crackhouse (the one where the dealer lives, so they don't actually USE there, it's just a steady flow of addicts 24/7), a woman died there the day before yesterday. Cardiac arrest was the reason, not sure if drugs as the main dealer's wife has been sick and housebound for a while now. Might've been her, and natural. Whatever it was, since then, it's been ESPECIALLY busy. Instead of one or two zombies walking to the door to buy, it's groups of 6-7 relatively alert, fast-moving people going to buy, and spending longer inside. Makes me suspect it was the wife who died, and the wife who prevented using there. I suspect that one is going to get worse, but it's far enough away that it doesn't wake me up.

The mugginess the past couple days felt nice. Too bad yesterday I only got a glimpse. When I left home it was 22. 2.5 hours later up north in Midland and Penetang it was 6.

Our windstorm has passed. At it's peak, over 20,000 NB Power customers were without power, but, surprisingly, for a change, my house was unaffected (my neighbourhood is located in a mature hardwood grove, mostly maples, and is prone to power outages during windstorms).
Currently 6C in Moncton at 10 AM and sunny, going up to 12C this afternoon. For the first time this year, there are no below zero temperatures in the long range forecast, not even overnight. Spring has truly arrived!
The storm finally arrived. Flurries outside, for the past hour or so. It's not even sticking on top of parked vehicles yet, and certainly not on the ground, but a video showing the second floor and above you would think was filmed in February.
