It's pretty obvious from the YT channel as others have pointed out.

Who on SSP is out trying to convince people that Carney is faultless? He's certainly had his missteps in this campaign. If I've posted something that says he's perfect, please call me out and quote it.

Do they airbrush Rosie Barton and Omar Sachedina into 'oh face' poses as well?

I dunno but I think Omar wears mascara like JD Vance. And you don't have to worry about Rosie, her hair has never seen a brush.

And I don't understand why you keep doubling down despite it being obvious no one is interested in what you're peddling. You've posted in this thread 30+ times in 12 hours, and managed to derail what is now our sixth page of the day. Are you trolling us?

You're like a smoldering sofa in a room with the doors and windows shut. Someone either take a fire extinguisher to the damn couch, or break a window and let the flashover just happen already.

I want to get back to sucking Carney's dick.

Here you go, I'll even give you an opinion because I have one on this subject. First part of the video good, what you should do, forgive/forget. Second part, not so good. Funny, I can't find a full video story on this at CBC.

OK guys, I think this has run it's course. Let us all agree that this forum remain civil and when trying to make a point due so by putting your own view forward and offering an alternative point of view but it must be done with respect and civility. As the forum rules also clearly state, profanity is not acceptable. ANY personal attacks will, in any way shape or form, not be tolerated.

Now let's get back to the election.....

Ok back to some polling,

Angus Reid dropped

LPC= 45
CPC= 39
NDP= 7

Men are voting for PP, women are voting for Carney. Like Ipsos, AR is showing a tightening race. Regionals remain strong for LPC.

Preferred PM:

Carney= 49
Poilievre= 30
Neither= 13

Other Tidbits:

-LPC leads Atlantic Canada by 20+ points, Quebec by 12 points, Ontario by 10 points, and tied in BC
-CPC leads the Prairies
-LPC leads the 905 by a thumping 16 points.

Trust me, most networks would kill for their reporter being intimately involved, unless you're the reporter. In my day that was true, maybe not now with reporters thinking their stars or something.

?

My understanding is that Carney is reassigning those button guys to another post, and he should have flat out fired them.

And Frankie said - 'How are you bad at this?', referring to the Liberal party fucking this up.

Like, I'm practically on your side here, dude.

If that is what he meant I apologize to him. My last line was I can't find a full video story and he writes "How are you so bad at this?" and posts a link to a clip.

By using "you", he is crapping on me or Carney and considering this forum, I figured it was me. No skin off my nose, if he meant Carney I sincerely apologize and will delete the offending post.

Elly63, I'm not sure why you visit the forum here, but I visit mostly to consume the quality conversation rather than contribute to it. Even though this place may lean left, members do tend to be pretty objective and thoughtful on the whole. This forum and its threads are just a small slice of the internet pie I consume, but I value the slice and it's upsetting seeing it steeply decline lately.

I've probably posted more today than I have in the last month because you are single-handedly tanking this thread and it's frustrating. I'm sure everyone agrees that you are absolutely welcome here, and we appreciate views that are contrary to the majority. However, expecting people to watch right-leaning rage-bait lookin videos without you at least offering a morsel of an opinion or catalyst for discussion to begin is borderline rude.

Are you so active in this thread because you're trying to change people's minds? Or are you active because you're trying to have a genuine discussion with people, but you're having a difficult time connecting with everyone?

I'm gonna offer a truce. I'm gonna assume that you are looking for sincere conversation and you're just kinda fumbling it. I believe you have it in you to learn from the discussion today, and I look forward to consuming your content in the future!

I actually agree with this G&M viewpoint. What do others think?

Why the Green Party doesn’t belong in the debates
The Editorial Board
Published 6 hours ago

It’s not often that we find ourselves in agreement with the Bloc Québécois, but Leader Yves-François Blanchet is correct on this much: the Green Party should not have a spot in this week’s leaders’ debates.

Over the weekend, Mr. Blanchet pointed out that the Greens have formally nominated just 232 candidates, far short of the threshold that the Leaders Debate Commission has set for participation in the debates.

All participating parties must meet two of three criteria: having an elected MP; support of at least 4 per cent in national polls 28 days before the vote; or endorsing candidates in at least 90 per cent of ridings, 28 days before the vote. The Greens did not hit the threshold for polling support, so their inclusion in the debates depended on the criterion of endorsed candidates.

Now, it is true that the Greens have technically qualified and were issued an invitation letter on April 1 – but that was only because the party sent a list of candidates, accounting for at least 90 per cent of the 343 federal ridings, that it intended to nominate. Green Party Co-leader Elizabeth May said the party had intended to nominate a full slate of 343 candidates.

So, as of March 31, the Greens say they were of the belief that they would have 343 candidates, but by the April 7 Elections Canada cutoff, they managed to cement just 232 nominations...
