Tower 4 rezoning, changed from office to residential, will receive 1st and 2nd reading from council on Tuesday.
T4 will now be 65 floors with 759 units, 509 strata and 250 non-market rental, density is 6.35FSR. That brings Phase 2 to 1771 units total.
The non-market rental was originally planned to be delivered in Phase 3.

No tower height yet but this should make T4 the tallest in the development.

That was what I expected to happen. From 1 December, noting Pinnacle had switched their office space to residential; "I wonder whether Onni will pursue a similar change here? The office space in phase 2 would seem to be unlikely to attract enough tenants to be a viable development in the current market."

Could we get a thread title change to add Phase 2? (And is Phase 1 still u/c?)

Sorry if this has been answered before! Is there direct platform or concourse access from the development, or will there still just be the one entrance to the station?

As for escalators, I don't think there's a single one but the elevator situation seems much better than at Marine Gateway.
Time will tell eh? I don't speculate: I make educated guesses. Good sign that they are planning for more bus transit, meaning there will actually be more foot passengers going through this skytrain mall.

You have to exit to street level and go back up (if you want to go to Level 2)

Thanks for the update.
Agreed, not surprising.
With that amenity space mid-tower, I wonder how much taller this will be over Tower 2 (if at all?)

They announced occupancy for Tower 2 (last tower in Phase 1) on Dec 1 so I assume that means it's completed minus tenant improvements for the retail/office shells.

I wonder what is happening with any lawsuits against Onni for the ground water/settling issues in the area.

And the T4 plaza mentions escalators for the upper levels

Quote:
Movement to the second and third commercial levels is also accommodated by several escalator and elevator banks to ensure universal access and inclusion.
I wonder if T2 will still be higher with the crown element?

Tower 2 isn't fully finished yet, the Penthouses are set to be finished/closing mid to end of March, and then there is still work being done to finish off some amenities for end of June.

A picture's worth a thousand words for Burnaby's success in attracting investments for creation of high-density town centres.

Read what he said. Here I'll cite if for you: "success in attracting investments for creation of high-density town centres."

Half the time y'all just attack Vin without even properly reading his post.

Here's what it looks like at night. I thought the other towers also had a light feature on top too? Seems kind of lame if it's just a white light and can't change colors.

I assume that angle isn't a side with the lighting feature on the lower towers. I think you need to go to the NW corner.

The intersection of Lougheed and Carleton is finally close to completion. I noticed that the eastbound direction seems to have a left turn signal. I assume it's preinstalled for the future Buchanan West redevelopment which plans to have Carleton extend northwards to connect with Halifax.

Seems more likely it will be late summer than anytime soon.

Entrance in that centre walkway beside Skytrain and parking is probably Gilmore but I wouldn't be surprised if they all connect.
