Bernier has probably lost more elections that he's won at this stage.

Pity poor Pierre.

As if Smith's industrial sized mouth wasn't doing enough harm, along comes Manning. His op/ed basically stating that unless the Tories win, the West will leave. Pierre is currently having a hard enough times as it is and the last thing he needs is to have to answer media question about his supposed friend's comments. Between Trudeau quitting, Trump propping up the Liberal, Smith's mouth, and now Manning, I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the guy.

I also fell sorry for him. He in a role he is not prepared for and is running for a position he does not have the temperament or experience to take on.

Manning has gone off the deep end. Does he think Canadians respond well to threats? We don't. We don't respond well to threats from Trump. We don't respond well to threats from Manning? The more of this nonsense from him and Smith the more support Carney will get. Carney has demonstrated he can stand up to bullies both domestic and foreign.

Maybe because Cooper knows more than most about how much money was laundered out of China into Canadian real estate, certainly than any politician. And you can bet that Carney will do absolutely NOTHING about cracking down or investigating it.

Danielle Smith and the UCP cancelled $11Billion worth of green energy projects and scared away billions more. It’s not actually about economics with conservatives. Just like they magically don’t care about government waste when it comes to tax dollars being spent to remediate orphaned wells when industry has a fund they are contractually obligated to use themselves. Same for all the tax breaks and government welfare oil companies get. It all simply boils down to industry favouritism. Conservatism has simply been captured by big oil.

This is with a horn tootin’ poverty fighting liberal government, and an NDP provincial government, you’d think they’d be dealing with it, but poverty increased again last year, food bank lines got longer.

Where’s your conscience?
And what is PeePee offering to feed those children? What government support has he ever offered? Oh right… he scolded indigenous people to develop work ethic. The same guy who’s never even had a real job in his life.

Ralph Klein certainly did in Alberta. He closed the mental hospitals and threw all the ‘bums’ on the street! Now we have one facility for the whole province in between Calgary and Edmonton.

Translation: "A Canadian journalist can encourage foreign interference in Canada's elections, if we are not perfect" I just thank God you are not in any position to influence on how our country is run.

The mindset of the Alberta ruling class, is something else. They are borderline sociopaths.

Excellent post.

I was working on one of these green energy projects in 2022, that Smith decided to cancel. Our company had a contract to do work setting up numerous solar powered windmills in rural areas. Smith is not qualified to be dog catcher, let alone run a province of nearly 5 million people.

Why should anyone feel sorry for Poilievre? He is in that CPC bubble, that would justify the actions of Smith and Manning. They all have the same mindset. His campaign manager is MAGA, so what would one expect. The CPC is getting exactly what is coming to them, and it is no wonder why the blew a 27 point lead, and now are trailing by 8 points with just over 3 weeks to go in the election.

What is depressing, is the fact that the CPC is going to literally sweep Alberta and Saskatchewan. I am honestly questioning if the CPC had the best interests of Canada at this point. I can see many of them abandoning the party, to joining the UPC, in a bid to help Alberta to break off from Canada, if they lose the election. That is how petty they are.

I will never feel sorry for Pierre. Now that he smiles makes me appreciate more and more the opportunist and chameleon he is. He is petty. He would be very dangerous PM.

Already starting to see the "conspiracy" narrative with his rally posts from his followers - "Too big to rig"... yeah, ok... just like Trump, fixated on rally sizes and undermining election results.

Grow up man, peepee I don’t even want to respond to you,

if you paid any attention at all when he talked you’d know what he wanted to do.

Remember when he posted a big story about some former Mountie meeting some Chinese gangsters in a hotel that he backed up with still of some security footage.

The only problem was the "casino security footage" he used was a clip from a 2015 Chinese made movie

I watched an interesting analysis and critique of the three main parties' housing plans. None of them great. Conservative one is the most problematic. Posting here to criticism of the takes in the video.

They always start out as good reporters. And either they end up Pulitzer worthy or end up going nuts.
