Thanks, I was kinda wondering. I don't think No Frills commonly has a pharmacy.

They have a pharmacy in their Shediac location.

I'm not sure about a 3rd grocery store in Riverview. Maybe at some point in the future the Gunningsville area could warrant one. MoeMar is building homes like crazy and have also been adding apartment buildings to their projects over the last few years. I think something along the lines of a Giant Tiger would be a good addition to that neighbourhood.

Large apartment building under construction on Quinn Court in Riverview. As you can see, there are three cranes working on site at present.

There's a cluster of residential apartments developing here. That new 38 unit building on the other side of the old Kent store just finished up recently, and now this proposed 18 unit building.

So what about the elephant in the room? Will the former Kent store just remain a storage building? I hope not. It'd be nice to see something happen with it.

I'm also curious about the land arrangement here. Irving owns the property, but the project applicant is Alexis Daniel Dannex Properties. How does that work?

Just leasing the land perhaps?

I’ve always been perplexed by the concept of a purpose built building on leased land. What happens if the land owner terminates the lease?

Leasing the land was my first thought. I remember when Cushman & Wakefield had a listing with the Junction Urban Village. There were several available options offered, one of which was leasing land. So I guess it's a thing. I would think that it would make selling the building in the future a lot more challenging though.

Cilantro 601 coming soon to Coverdale Road in Riverview - it will be an Indian fusion restaurant.

Using "601" as a clue, I would say they plan on opening in Coverdale Square, immediately behind the former Kent store.

Inexpensive rent in that location I imagine, but poor street presence. This could be a challenge for them.

I saw an Ashford Living car cruising around Riverview today. They have no apartment buildings in town, so could they be considering Riverview for a future project? It would be interesting to know if they own any land in town.

I think they'll do very well; they don't have a lot of competition. That little strip mall that they're in seems to be doing quite well too. I'll be stopping by this place for sure.

There a sign board for this location along side freddie pizza. It’s going to open in opposite direction of kent sore. I clicked picture but not able to attach it. Sorry

It appears that they have started interior renovations/demolition in the Riverview mall. There is a large dumpster out front and it appeared that there was people working inside.

Public Works Director Michel Ouellet said the work will include complete reconstruction on Whitepine Road from Cleveland Avenue to Pine Glen Road with underground pipes, bike lanes and sidewalks on both sides. Currently, there are no sidewalks on that section of Whitepine, which is riddled with cracks and potholes. The new street will be 11 metres wide with left and right turn lanes at Pine Glen Road
