The fact remains she was unethical and absolutely tried to pitch Poilievre to US officials. Her words, linking PP to the current US administration will hurt him no doubt. She was trying to help him, when in fact she did the opposite. She also tried to stop the tariff talk until after the election BECAUSE it was hurting the Conservatives in the polls. Straight from her mouth.
It's not like she was just casually telling the host that holding off on tariffs would be mutually beneficial for the countries. She sold the idea with the INTENT of trying to affect the outcome.
Criminal? Let's be real. Nobody is going to come arresting her. But its horrible optics and ethically bankrupt.
