Americans have a great sense of humor. But it would be fun to get stuck for a few hours inside a seaside villa in the middle of an ice desert.

The photo is gorgeous :sbarazzino:

Yeah, until you slip and break your elbow! When we were 15 years old a bunch of us decided to go play tackle football on the same kind of surface because of our youthful stupidity. The next day we all showed up to school limping and showing off our bruises. We could have had fractures for all I know, but no one wanted to show "weakness".

Anyway, I used the spikes and felt like a boss. I saw the few other people treading carefully while I didn't skip a beat. I was like Schumacher in the rain at Spa Francochamps with rain tires on vs. the rest of the field on slicks. I think I'm ready to start ice climbing with no training.

0C and sunny. Gusty.

Low of -8C (wind chill of -18) this morning. Low wind chill was attributed to the gusty wind.

The warmspot was Lillooet, BC at 14.6C

Warmest low was Cumshewa Island, BC at 7.5C

Golf courses around the valley open today.

High of 11c and sun/cloud, potential to see a little bit of moisture from the pineapple express currently hammering Vancouver and the coast

Windy enough to blow yer tongue out yer arse.

EDIT: Bit squally, but they're very weak and mostly graupel. Bright sun every so often in between.

Today was a pleasant day in Toronto, aside from gusty winds at points. It was clear skies and 1C
I decided to go geocaching and visit an old residence in York University's Glendon Campus, and some homes from a similar vintage in the Sunnybrook Hospital Campus:

Bleak, rainy, atmospheric river, about 6°C.

Rainfall amounts were below normal for January and most of February this year.

^ Looks like we got a smidge under 5 cm overnight. Shouldn't be around very long, today's high is going to be around 5 degrees lol.

Currently sunny and 2 degrees at just before noon. Beautiful day.
