I know it's been asked a few times here but man what is up with that pedestrian bridge over summit to TRU? Feels like we hear about it once every couple months in the media then radio silence. Will we even see this built within the decade? lol.
From what I've seen, both parties are in agreement where its to be built.
I'm hoping to see something move on it before fall. I will be asking city council about though, as Im also interested.

Gotcha makes sense. Also wondering if The Hive is still proceeding with the other 2 (3?) buildings they had in their masterplan. Haven't heard much about that.
I would call the 2 other buildings of the hive a write off at this point. With the stills leaving, ( great place but run by autistic 9 year olds ) they are still only 75% full.

Wished the tan color to the building was permanent, it would have complimented the surrounding landscapes more than completely grey and white building

Too bad, would've created a great area once all buildings were complete, I always wondered though what would happen to the hotel adjacent as they would no longer have a parking lot.. and the underground parking is not nearly big enough for all guests

The Hive website says they're fully occupied so I would imagine they'll be moving forward at some point. Ya the restaurant closed at ground level, but the odds of a new restaurant succeeding on its first go, is slim to none. The next one that goes in will have a better chance, the 2nd one always does.
It is kind of nuts. Ive never seen so much construction in Kamloops before. I just wish they were about 2-3 floors higher. Would be nice to see commercial being done as well, but yes its clear that we need housing BADLY.

Tons in Juniper and Aberdeen, Orchards Walk is constructing a 91 unit duplex/townhouse development, probably some more but I cant think of them atm.
