I visit one of the stores there, and in speaking with the owner, they have wanted to jack their rent rates to obscene levels. They were promised one thing, given another, and now after their being there for a bit, the rent is being looked at increasing a substantial amount. And I mean substantial in my eyes. Not sure what a store in the building would cost then vs now for other tenants, but if anyone could give me the 'what would be appropriate' size and monthly rent for, I dunno, a starbucks in white oaks, vs the startbucks there, I'd be able to tell you if that tenant would be getting absolutely hosed.
