For all the smug and holier than now Canadians, just a reminder apartheid in South Africa was based on the Canadian Indian Act and the reserve system; both which still exist to this day. A reminder which was shared by an Indigenous keynote speaker at a recent conference in Ottawa. The speaker commented in some instances, Canada is more Trumpian than Trump.
