Was there anywhere in the US where COVID restrictions were as stringent as in Canada, and lasted for as long?
Also, in terms of housing affordability, the US has tons of desirable places to live and build a career where housing remains as affordable as it was a generation or two ago in Canada.
So no, at least on the these metrics younger Americans aren't feeling the same way as young Canadians.
(They likely have other sources of anxiety and frustration, however.)
