permit filed for Residence Inn by Marriott downtown, at 355 Centennial Olympic Park Drive - the lot just south of Generation Atlanta where Spring street pops out to meet Ivan Allen.
"preparation for the construction of a 19-story hotel building with (185) rooms that also includes 4,055 s.f. of retail space at grade level."
The renderings don't look 19 stories, but I can't find an updated version. This site has switched back and forth with different hotel proposals over the last 5 years.
