Getting chilly out there. Currently 4C at my place, we'll probably have another hard freeze soon like the past two mornings.

Over at jeddy1989's place this evening, first time in nearly a year (Portuguese immigration, man, they couldn't come back until they got their papers and it took A LOT longer than their intended June lol).

Anyhow, mentioning just because the tenant they had who was renting their place all that time... when he left, he took the batteries out of the remotes Respect.

Well winter and the artic air have arrived.

-1C with a wind chill of -6 and mainly cloudy with sunny breaks.

Low of -6C (wind chill of -10) this morning. Coldest morning so far. There was an extremely thin layer of snow on some surfaces but it was so insignificant that it basically evaporated throughout the day.

The warmspot was Cumshewa Island, BC at 13.1C.

The warmest low was Cumshewa Island, BC at 9.3C.

’Twas a brilliant day. Dry, calm and cool with mostly blue skies and sunshine with a bit of hazy cloud.
That is, if you weren’t stuck in a fog bank somewhere.

Monday’s high at Vancouver Harbour was 7 C, the low was 3 C.

Looks like YVR fell today, so officially Dec 1st, -0.4. Though, once again the weather stations in the city proposer haven’t frozen yet.

The way that I always unofficially recognized the first true freeze city wide in Metro-Vancouver was when all the leaves on the banana trees at English Bay fully die back.

Okay, time for a banana tree report from Vancouver.
They're a bit dog-eared (maybe from the wind storms) but hanging in there.
There may be some in more sheltered locations that are looking better.

2 days of snowfall here in London. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Sun just came out.

At 9 am it's -0.4 c on Bedford Basin and mostly sunny with a forecast high of +1. It's -3.5 at YHZ and -0.2 at the Dockyard station and at the Shearwater Jetty station. This, I believe, is the first freeze this fall for Shearwater.

-4C and sunny in Moncton at 11 AM, going up to -1C this afternoon.

I will take cold and sunny any day of the week over warm and damp.

Coming down hard and heavy (again) here in London, just an hour after the sun peeked through.

Thank you for the update! Those still look healthy. The longest I have ever personally seen them last is into January. They are super sensitive to freezing conditions so it doesn’t take much to kill them back.

The Swiftie invasion is almost upon us! Last night's low was supposed to be 0C. I wonder if we finally joined the freeze list?

Yes, YVR froze. Other stations have been pretty close, too.

I wondered what the reference to a dated British sweater was doing in Vancouver.

What an amazing night to be out and about for our annual light up in Downtown Edmonton at the provincial legislature.

Just below 0C, snow on cue and many families enjoying the grounds.

0C (wind chill of -2) and mainly cloudy this afternoon. Very thin layer of snow again (from last night). Noticeable but not enough to do anything. Grass can still be seen.

Low of -4C (wind chill of -8) this morning

The warmspot was Langara Island, BC at 12.8C. That is a station I have never heard before.

Warmest low was Cumshewa Island, BC at 9.7C.

A blustery day with some snow earlier. Not very much sun of late, though yesterday was a pretty decent winter's day. At 10pm YWG has light freezing drizzle, gusty from the NW and -2°.
