3C and rainy. Pretty crappy.

A little bit of greenery still. YUL has yet to fall below -5C. While downtown Montreal's coldest so far has been -2.7C with a just few nights dipping below zero.

Today was a perfect example of the St. Lawrence microclimate. You can see the snow/rain line.

Zoomed out. Very well can see the impact of the Great Lakes as well.

Later this afternoon, the rain/snow line was literally parallel to the river.

Low of 2C this morning.

The warmspot was Cumshewa Island, BC at 9.2C.

Warmest low was Bonila Island, BC at 6.7C.

Breaking news - it appears Victoria airport has fallen! Leaving Vancouver as the SSP winner.

The main weather station (more than 25 km away) actually in the city of Victoria doesn’t appear to be in danger, and the forecast looks safe from freezing into December. Checking the Environment Canada Victoria Gonzales weather station there have been 8 days thus far that fell below freezing in 2024 - all consecutively in February during the Arctic Outflow from Feb 11 to 18th with the last two days hitting -0.2 each. Also during this stretch were the only 2 days where the high also was below zero with an extreme of -6.6 on February 12th. This was a brutal stretch for us, the same for Vancouver if I recall.

Can't complain too much about the recent weather. I have low expectations for November.
Another calm, dry and cool day with hazy skies.

Thursday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 8 C, the low was 4 C.

You should feel no shame. You did not choose to build a fascist state, nor did you have a say in where/the family that you were born into. We should never feel shame for a history that we did not take part in, but learn from it and make a better future.

Currently 0C and light rain in Moncton at 8 AM.

We had snow overnight, but I would say we got in the vicinity of 5 cm rather than the 10-15 cm predicted.

Still, the snow was particularly heavy, and a lot of tree branches are bent over. I lost power for about two hours around midnight, and, currently there are about 39,000 customers without power in the province, mostly in the Fredericton region where the snowfall was heavier.

You are right, your words are very wise and very beautiful.

However, I have always felt great admiration for countries like Canada that have always been a beacon of democracy and freedom. I would have liked a different history for Italy in the 20s-40s of the twentieth century. Fascism was the most disgusting moment in Italian history.

Start of a snowsquall which is affecting the east end of Lake Ontario in New York state. I read Watertown NY could receive up to 2 ft of snow this weekend

I'm (my backyard weather station) now up to 368mm of rain for November thus far, and it's not over yet.

It could be worse. You could be in Sault Ste. Marie right now. This was from this morning with another 50cm forecasted today and 40cm forecasted tomorrow. This is from snow squalls coming off of Lake Superior. Beginning of this week there was no snow on the ground there.

I may have prematurely eliminated Victoria Airport from the freeze list, Environment Canada showed that it didn't’ fall below zero last night, but Nikko might have the minute by minute breakdown.

Victoria is out.

Low of 0.0 yesterday (evening) but down to -0.5 during the night (morning) today.

All the weather stations actually in and near Victoria (UVIC / Harbour / Gonzales / Esquimalt) haven’t frozen yet, but the airports are the ones we go by on this list!

We got our first snowfall today, feeling like winter. I went to London this afternoon and there was no snow, normally it's the other way around.

3C and mainly cloudy. We did get some sun between clouds however. Very wet flakes this afternoon for about 10-15 min. Officially the first ones I see this season.

Low of -2C (wind chill of -5).

The warmspot was Sable Island, NS at 12.0C.

Warmest low was Sartine Island, BC at 7.0C.
*Ogimet website is down so I did a quick manual check through the stations. If anywhere has warmer lows, feel free to correct me.
