There's a September newsletter, so some material is still being produced, but not the monthly report, as you note.

I believe that was released before the blackout which started 20 September.

I wonder whether there will be nothing published until the next government is confirmed? That should be after the three recounts and final votes are counted this weekend.

a question or three

I would guess that since an outsider has a tougher time seeing inside the works on the Broadway Line, there are not going to be too many more images surfacing (pun intended).
So here is my question

what are the end dates for all the stages of construction to which we can look forward.

Example :

rail lines all in place April —, 20XX
First testing of the new line May —, 20XX

What is left to do? thanks

From twitter today:

The platform looks pretty wide and will have a high ceiling.

The concrete slab for the SkyTrain platform is complete at the future South Granville Station - the first on the #BroadwaySubwayProject!

Worth noting that this isn't a particularly recent photo. It was posted to their Flickr on September 18th, with a taken date of Aug 21.

Really hoping we get some more recent photos and the overdue monthly reports posted now that the election is over.

At this point I've given up on them catching up on the monthly reports and just expecting that they will post the August report this month and stay a month behind the previous schedule.

That's some impressive light output from those LED strips. They should put those in the tunnels south of Ironworkers Bridge. That thing is way too dark.

It can be very misleading to judge the brightness of something from a photograph. The camera will automatically use a longer exposure if the scene is dim, and a long enough exposure can make anything look bright.

I think they "tried" to have the Cassiar Connector lighting be balanced from the outside brightness and inside the tunnel to be more gradual for drivers. If you look at Streetview you'll see how they don't turn on all the lights that are available to them. And there's less lights leaving.

this is exactly how the George Massey Tunnel was designed in the 1950s. it was to prevent drivers from being shocked with sudden darkness/brightness when entering or existing. smart design idea. i assume they did the same with the Cassiar Tunnel.

i have never been a fan of LED lighting though. find it harsh on the eyes when driving at night. i notice more glare than with the old ones.

Nothing could be as bad as the original lighting on the original Port Mann bridge. They had fluorescent tubes installed into the rails along the top of the balustrade on each side of the bridge. They were pretty close to eye level and the dark spots where each fixture would meet combined with the silhouettes created by cars passing in the opposite direction caused a really distracting flickering effect when you were driving at speed.
