It lets the consultants and lawyers do their talking for or against the application during normal working hours.

Is Firefox better? The ads suck for me in Google and Safari. Painful.

Yah, Gillingham and his policy advisors are all on board with this. I'd be shocked if they delayed this.

Mini rant incoming. Not sure what can be done, or how often this happens across the whole city, but there's a perfectly acceptable, large house at the end of the block which has been approved for redevelopment into a 4-plex. Excellent! Except it's been sitting unoccupied for over a year with no sign of movement while we all sit and complain about a lack of housing. A large family could have lived there but we let the developed turn off the lights while they sit on it waiting for their build costs to go down.

I usually don’t discuss rumours that I have heard in which I don’t have any insider information on, but I was recently told that the mayor and premier are sitting on some information relating to a very large project that should be announced in the near future.

I do not know if it is commercial, residential or industrial.

It sounded interesting. Honestly, not knowing anything more than that I would have to guess it would be industrial/manufacturing related.

Guess away boys and girls.

Building construction related? Here's me hoping for a deal with the Feds to fund downtown transit corridor.

I wouldn't say that's "very big". I'd lean more towards federal funding of something big.

He didn’t say very big, he said very large , at $102 million I’d say that’s large for Winnipeg, GATE will rely heavily on federal funding.

Yes but it's already in the public eye, idk if they'd be sitting on it at this point. I'm intrigued. Biff, did you contact say when an announcement is coming?
