There was no doubt about the increasing Liberal momentum in the past week or two. Even so, I'm surprised at the extend of the win. I would have thought mid-high 20's not 30+ Saint John and especially the suburbs are also a surprise. I have to say I'm quite pleased at the extent of the repudiation of Higgs' lurch to the populist right.
I just hope Holt can control the left wing of her party and we don't start seeing crazy pork barrel spending again. I am hopeful but time will tell.
