Get outside and talk to people and you realize average layperson doesn't care about climate change, pollution, vaccination statuses and conspiracy theories these days. Many people are broke, tired of drug addicts and crime and also tired of dealing with inadequate health care and will pledge their support behind the non-incumbent party or party that promises better times. The NDP have done some decent changes but failed to convey and promise of better times to the general public. Most people no longer see climate change as a direct threat like they did in the 2010's and we as a region cannot do anything to mitigate the impacts anyway when you see the worlds biggest polluters. People are also over COVID and pretty much over getting vaccinated a whole (less than 16% have been vaccinated so far this year). They don't care. Time to move on.

I didn't vote for the BC Cons because I had access to reliable information to suggest they were nutjobs, but many people barely ready any commentary worth of substance these days aside from social media posts that portray them as a legitimate party.
