Yeah I like this building, but as with the other buildings next to it, I don't like the rectangular proportions. Taller and less wide would of course be much preferred but the economics seem to result in this shape.

I *think* all the open windows throw off the looks a bit. I think/hope it'll look cleaner when it's finished. Still a fantastic addition, especially walking out of 30th St.

A huge downgrade for this project if PMC is too cheap to fill that in with glass. Unless they're scheduled to fill that in last (sometimes that is case).

That tower is PMC as well, so I'd say it won't start til after this is finished. Might depend on how it leases as well?

I hope that the latter is correct. Given PMC I’m not counting on it. Heck, even the W hotel didn’t cover their elevator shaft with glass.

I am from Pittsburgh and I watched this thing rise and it is stunning from all angles. I really dig top notch infill projects such as this. My work brings me to Philadelphia often so I will note the progress. The amount of construction in and around center city is nothing short of amazing...

That photo makes this building look super close to Riverplace. Like you could reach across.

I know I've complained about the sign...but to me this thing is like a modern PSFS Building. Sure it's shorter, but it will have a gigantic noticable sign at the top, an eye catching modern design, and a not so pleasant blank wall. I like this project A LOT!

Thank you for your outsider(ish) perspective. Philly has come a long way in the past couple of decades and very often we forget...when bickering about otherwise inconsequential things.

You should see what's going on in the Riverwards (Northern Liberties, Fishtown, Kensington). The buildings are on a much smaller scale but the volume is mind blowing.
