Sad to see your hometown mall turn to crap as just another plaza.

I remember Mother's Pizza as a kid. It was an integral part of my early childhood with countless friend and family birthday parties held there. I believe the chain was from Hamilton/Stoney Creek IIRC.

How is downtown North Bay faring these days?

I looked up the population estimates
2003: 55,247
2013: 54,041
2016: 52,924 (nadir)
2023: 58,388

Have you noticed an increase in housing developments in North Bay? That's a pretty quick recovery from a declining population. What's changed?
