And this is not just your location specifically, The Weather Network seems to overestimate lows often, they do this all the time for Osoyoos too for example.
Sometimes I wonder if their forecasts are tailored for a lakeside location or urban heat island location (where lows are often warmer) than the airport locations (which often have the coldest lows in any given area).

Cedar Springs. Very few of those will turn out to be official 20s. The temperature often dips a little just after sunset and then rebounds, or dips a bit just before sunrise, so many of those will end up with lows around 18-19.
