At any rate. Hilton is placing 2 low end properties in 2 blocks. Sad infill for Downtown properties. . At least TRU will be an improvement over "THE G".
I thought the Pizza Hut site was going to be the approach to the building. But this Land Status Determination confirms that the site is just the retail buildings next to the Pizza Hut. I find it hard to believe that the abandoned Pizza Hut will remain while the hotel is built right up against it.

Things will be great when you're downtown.

The north and south elevations are half the width of the east and west so it does appear to be a single lot.

The only Hut I ever saw with "half a Hut".

my buddies and I all considered the Hut to be to expensive, so we hit up Gumbies and Pizza Classics. Large Pizzas for like $5.

Ah! you are seeing the same thing! I thought it was strange as well! especially when you see where windows are and the idea of "firewalls" etc. We shall see!

I would love for the Home 2 Suites lot to follow the curvature of the road/intersection. A flatiron appearance coming down Guadalupe would be awesome.

I'll look at it on the bright side - it'll be really cool to see the tall-ish, narrow buildings all together once that Pizza Hut is developed
