People seem to think only sick people go to the hospital. That's mostly just the emergency department and surgical units. Hospitals have thousands of employees; nurses, PSWs, technicians, administrators, doctors, yes even doctors can take transit. There's also the out patients who go for follow-ups but aren't necessarily sick. Visitors may want to take transit for $8 instead of parking for $15.
Not sure what the obsession is with forcing everyone to drive.
