Mixed feelings about this. Certainly better than boulevard des Technologies, which is way to far from the built up areas of Gatineau. In a way, this is better than Edmonton, which impacted dozens of businesses and involved a complicated expropriation process.
Carrière with the casino parking lot and the former DND office building for sale that's ripe for redevelopment would have been best, utilizing the massive Casino parking across the street, the Rapibus and existing highway connections.
Asticou presents equal some accessibility challenges for all users, but there's the potential of redirecting the Plateau Tram down St. Raymond to better serve the hospitals, Cégeps, but also built up areas of Hull.
