Clemow is a 50-plus rental complex located in the heart of the Glebe, one of Ottawa’s most famous neighbourhoods. Located just south of downtown Ottawa and bordered by the Rideau Canal, Dow’s Lake and the Queensway, the Glebe is a quaint, charming area.

The Clemow is an apartment complex with lots of pluses, and it aims to redefine what 50-plus living can look like for the Ottawa community.
The Clemow’s location is ideal due to its closeness to Highway 417, which provides easy access to any part of the city, as well as its proximity to The Ottawa Civic Hospital and the new Ottawa Hospital Campus. Dow’s Lake is just 500 metres away from The Clemow, which is less than 10 minute walk. Whether you want to enjoy a scenic walk along the Rideau Canal, or do some skating during the winter or canoeing during the summer, both bodies of water are a major draw for residents.
A haven for foodies, The Clemow is also minutes from Little Italy, Bank Street and Lansdowne, all of which boast their own one-of-a-kind coffee shops, specialty stores, authentic restaurants and more. “The Clemow allows you to be at the centre of it all, to easily have access to everything the area has to offer as well as easy access to the rest of the city,” says Suzanne Cyr, a leasing adviser for KTS Properties, about the idyllic location south of downtown Ottawa.

“It was important for us to create a building where residents felt at home and could also invite friends and family over for visits, or even more formal family gatherings,” explains Muhammad Talha, Clemow’s leasing director.
The Clemow is an innovative rental apartment and a lifestyle-focused project for the 50-plus. It includes over 20,000 sq. ft. of amenities, which include an indoor pool, steam and sauna facilities, a gym and a fitness room, a kids’ space, and multiple activity and gathering areas. It’s also pet friendly offering a small dog park on 17th floor terrace.
The project also has an indoor golf simulator, an activity room with a billiards table, a hobby room and a cinema. A community garden, library and fireplace will also be available to residents.
“In spring and summer, residents will have access to the terraces on the fourth and 17th floors that include a barbecue area for organized events as well as your own gatherings. There is also a big party space with a kitchen that can be rented. Sleepovers with the grandkids are welcome too, and the little ones will find their space in the kids’ area,” continues Talha.
The Clemow will also offer some activities included in the rent such as aquafit, yoga or other group fitness classes. A unique perk of living at Clemow is the Lifestyle Concierge, who will be in charge of organizing these activities and community events such as Happy Hour, musical evenings or cooking classes. The Lifestyle Concierge is also there to assist tenants with anything they may need, whether it be help ordering groceries or arranging for dry cleaning.
Each unit has a modern, open-concept floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide incredible views of the surrounding areas.
