I work next door, and can confirm that there is no activity at the site. Excavation full of water. A redditor mentioned that a portion of financing fell through.

Hmmm... I donno... It's been a steady stream of dump trucks delivering fill, dozers, and rollers. It looks an awful lot like they are turning the excavation into a parking lot.
