I think a couple of VIP A350s have visited. I'm pretty sure at least one Luftwaffe 350 has already been at YOW.

The “base” 5x weekly service gives ~1000 new seats per week vs last year. But in peak summer, daily vs 5x gives +324 new seats per direction (x2) per new day (x2). So about ~2300 new weekly seats in peak summer this year vs last year. Assuming it all holds.

If anyone plans on going to see the A350 today, it's delayed and now scheduled to land at 5:35pm per AF's flight status page.

Edit: showing 5:15pm estimated arrival on FR24 now.

I noticed that Porter's YOW->YYG flights are 11x weekly starting in May, and 2x daily in July and August.

Not sure if Porter was flying YOW->YYG 2xdaily last summer?

Good to see more options for flights to the east coast this summer.

Yep was 2x daily during the summer peak last year too. YFC, YQM, BOS all increase to 2x daily too and EWR 3x on weekdays.

I find that you don't get the size of an A350 without a regular 737 next to it.

Can't wait to fly it to Paris in June!

A bit of WS growth at YOW:

YOW-YWG is increasing by 1x weekly this winter and ops X67 and without a six week hiatus like last November-December.

YOW-YEG returns to year-round service with ops X67 this winter.

YOW-YYZ still showing as resuming late October 1x daily (service ends for the summer 27APR24).

YOW-YWG on WS also goes daily this summer starting from June 9th (I believe it was previously scheduled x7).

That's true indeed that it was X7 originally for this summer. So an extra weekly year-round for WS on the route. Hey it's better than nothing because assuming that extra flight is a mix of 73G/7M8/738, at an average of 150 seats with an average 80% LF, that's an extra 12,480 pax for a full year.

Add an extra 6,480 pax on top of that (at a conservative 72% LF for one of the slowest periods of the year) for the additional 6 weeks of 2024 ops in November-December during the hiatus last year.
