It's a 30 year old office tower, they're replacing HVAC equipment.

I was lazy this morning, did not head out, I also tracked it on flightradar24. Started at around 9am and finished at around 11am or the pilot turned off the transponder at 11am.
Same helicopter Sikorsky S-61 https://vih.com/vih-helicopters/fleet/ that installed signage at the Canadian Western Bank building https://skyscraperpage.com/forum/showthread.php?p=9789670#post9789670

It landed at the heliport around 11 and left at 12:30

I think it ended up at the heliport at YVR

Multiplex Map & Spreadsheet

Quote:
We’re proud to launch our latest project!
This map not only shows where multiplexes have been built, but also where they can be. Plus, our spreadsheet notes how many parking stalls each has, & the impact to the Secured Rental Policy.

This is great to see! I've been looking for information on the status of multiplex projects in the city, and am embarrassed to say I've found it difficult locating/ tracking them.

Yes, great job again!

I hadn’t realized how many proposals are underway.

Good investment to see is continuing and with our new funds:

"2. New and Emerging Projects

The adjustments below will create new multi-year project budgets to address emerging needs.
2 a) Digital Transformation Program (DTP)

(Increase to 2023-26 Capital Plan: $7.0 million; Increase to Multi-Year Project Budget: $7.0 million)

This budget adjustment is to increase the multi-year project budget with funding from the Permitting Task Force (funding approved in 2021 for Internal Application Development is being redirected towards the DTP project) and the Housing Accelerator Fund, to support the on-going enhancement of the design and delivery of permitting services through use of service design, digital services, and emerging technologies." (pg. 3)

It'll be on the second floor. I assume it's an Urgent Primary Care Clinic but haven't seen any confirmation.

Stanley Chiu and I are proud to announce the entire office space comprising ~16,000 square feet at Plaza 500 (500 w.12th Avenue) has been leased to a single tenant! Gammon represented the Landlord in this transaction and although I cannot say what the plans are at this time, i can say it will be a true benefit to the City.

It was renovated from hotel to rental residential over 10 years ago, and in the process a whole heap of seismic code / structural issues were discovered. There was a long delay and the necessary work was carried out in 2016, and subsequently the building was offered for sale. The converted hotel conference space which became office has taken years to find a tenant, and when it was put on the market it was suggested that a second rental tower could replace the 4-storey commercial podium, but nobody has pursued that idea, and it looks like, for now, nobody will be.
