The story also says they removed the mezzanine for Victoria's Secret.

Sewage (?) flood at Hudson's Bay:

Quote:
According to the source, brown water, which resembles “sewage,” leaked onto the store floors and caused “massive damage” to the Levi’s shop-in-shop and Zellers pop-up.

Black and Blue is right next door and seems to do well. And it's not like any part of Alberni, let alone this block right off Burrard and next door to Robson is that far off the beaten path. If Eataly would be enough of an attraction to succeed anywhere in DT Vancouver, it could do so here.

Maybe? There's a building permit attached to it in November.

54A was Hollister. 58C was empty. But seems like they'll split the space adding 53? Too small for VS?

Their sister Brand Abercrombie & Fitch has a store in Richmond Centre, it looks like just took the store and placed their clothes on all the existing furniture and fixtures, very strange and off-brand looking.

Also saw some pics of a new Hollister store and people were complaining that it looked like Old Navy or the Gap now. They missed the old dark in need of a flashlight store look they were known for. The parent company seems to have dropped the store design team or something.

So on the PC leasing plan, Level 3 - what's the "Unknown" area in the Canaccord Tower?
Potential H&M expansion? Or Harry Rosen expansion from below?

... and on the Level 2 plan, I'm curious where the GO22N Harry Rosen space is located? Probably storage?

Thats a major disappointment if true.
Maybe they're looking to stir up some more controversy by hanging the "Terrex" branding all over the place. They are kitty corner from the Arc'teryx Robson Location

Would have preferred Uniqlo but Adidas will brighten up that corner and likely have more visual impact than VS.

thats the new Hollister aesthetic. I watched one of those tik tok things where a millennial was dumbfounded by her trip to the Hollister store recently. She was very unimpressed.

-----

The Bay Guildford suffered a Pipe Burst on Wednesday and closed up early. The mall in general also had a lot of stores closed due to the weather and or lack of staff. I heard on the radio someone said they went to a store in Vancouver somewhere downtown in the afternoon and the staff told them they were the first customer of the day.

Lougheed Mall had a power outage and closed early too. Price Smart opens in a week today.
