I'm amazed at the beige/brown building abutting in the back of your google image.

I thought at first 'how refreshing, they're playing nice by being flush with eachother for the height of the building'

But then I noticed that somebody is out of plumb so much that at the base they're off by about 6", and at the top they're off by 6" in the opposite direction. SOMEBODY isn't vertical here

Some pics I took yesterday.

They're doing a good job clearing the mid-block path. Far better job than the City.

And since this is where we're been posting pics o the re-clad of the Bronson Tower; that they framed the building with the new cladding but kept the two strips of concrete near the middle makes this even worse.

I passed by today and it seems like they are establishing something in the retail space. Couldn't tell what though.

Passed by again. The retail space will be occupied by a "True Queen Pharmacy". Noticing Google Maps is showing "Pharmasave".

Would have preferred a convenience store, but the area is a dead zone for pharmacy, with only one nearby on Somerset and Arthur.

Drove by there yesterday and I can confirm that that reclad is one of the most horrendous looking things in Ottawa.

I might go as far to say that it looks worse that this beauty of a sidescraper:

I'd say that nearly all of these 70s tower reclads created a worse end result than the original designs.
