Four floors left on the north tower? It will only stand out from the west looking east, until the Flats are built-up.

Any indication as to what retail will go in on the ground floor?

I'm counting 18 here, so looks like 5 more to go

A bank, a Starbucks, a Shawarma shop, a Shoppers Drug Mart, and a pot shop (most likely, being Ottawa)

A year or two before approval, they consulted with the community in part to hear what type of retail people wanted. No indication of what's to come.

No doubt a restaurant or two (maybe just in the adjacent hotel), but there's plenty of space for an LCBO, pharmacy (not super needed since CD Howe and Minto Place have one) or a small foot print hardware store.

With 20k retail, they could fit two fairly large stores with basic that are sorely lacking downtown.

EDIT - fare more retail space than I remembered. Over 50k square feet.

One of the good things about living next door to this is seeing the progress. If I knew how to upload pictures, I would post more updates on this project, but I think I need a Flickr or Imgur account?

Looks like they're going quick on installing glass and brickwork near ground level.

Please see Forum Help Guide:

With Imgur or Postimages, you don't need an account.

We'd love to see some updates any time on this one. Glass is already mostly up to the second floor.

To resize a photo no imgur, you can add "h" in the image url before ".jpg": https://i.imgur.com/4p3X9Gi.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/4p3X9Gih.jpg

Or better yet, use flickr, there you can select the size to share.

We used to be able to select-a-size on imgur. Not sure why that feature was taken away.

You still can. I just click the image then down at the bottom right I choose "Huge Thumbnail" then I copy the direct link.

More glass and panelling going up. Looks like it’s decent quality.
Photos by me, Dec. 1, 2023.

Wow, yes. My favourite project going up in Ottawa right now.

The tower design, the curves and stepbacks, the amount of (reflective?) glass vs. white panelling, the breathing room between both towers as they rise...

Much more of these please!

Walk by yesterday. As far as I can remember, they didn't have any glass up at that fourth level.
