I guess we will see. As much as I would like to see that $200M spent on infrastructure, I would also like to see indigenous relationship improved. I don’t want Canada to be like U.S., where highways are nice but also where relationship with visible minorities is sh*t.
Even viewed purely from the perspective of infrastructure improvement, a better relationship with the indigenous community may even be foundational to twinning TCH around Falcon Lake. The twinning on the Ontario side was stalled until Freedom Road for Shoal Lake 39 got built.

Interchange designs for Brandon (just as with JCT 1 & 16) have been drawn up.
Now, I wonder if the same can be said about Elie and Virden.
