This is 100% the truth. A glorified food court, hands off largely and I would assume no individual tenants to manage as I am sure opening **insert mall franchise here** would not attract the type of worker that is in that area. (although reinventing the suburban JoRich concepts probably wouldn't have been a success either). I am very interested to see how fogo to chao will turn out, its busy in Bellevue but typically with a more suburban/family vibe. With that said, once this place gets converted into Canadian Dollars, it will be PRICEY with a menu that is largely geared towards all you can eat. - (bellevue menu)

Westbank seems to be a bit more interested in housing unique concepts with their development of the Kitchen Table Group along with backing time out market.
Theoretically this could be another spot for Eataly, but I would assume Loblaws would not want to have competition in house for their glorified and overpriced superstore.
