That's great news that we finally have an update on the Moda Luxe site. I wish we could get more height, since it's so close to the downtown core and the Randi already feels so stubby and underwhelming. I would like to see more buildings fill in the gap between the 5+1 and the bigger apartment towers (things on the scale of The Exchange), like Moda Luxe was initially slated to do. But I will say though that the ground floor engagement and mid-block walkway make up for that in a big way and could bring back a lot of much-needed vibrancy to that block.

Gabbott's Row seems to have stalled, they started excavating and abruptly stopped a couple month's ago. Site is all overgrown now. Part of me wonders if the developer is holding off for the proposed Ballpark rezone to build something bigger. Whatever happens, I hope it looks something like their current design. I really hope this one happens. I agree that the design would be really unique for a modern residential building, and it would be a shame if that got value engineered out.
