No sign of any trees in the breezeways yet?

Those are going to be large curved glass for the 56th floor, my guess on cost would be $8,000 per pane and install?

I walked past this project the other day and was struck how amazing it was especially those arches.

And maybe because Nelson is only two lanes here, the building really has a cool vibe at street level.

Watching the construction video sequences, one can't help but imagine the many hair-pulling moments for this rather complicated project. Things won't fit or line up, or could be too short or long, or the multiple changes to the blueprints and shop drawings, etc. Everyday is certainly a challenge, and I have to tip my hat off to the planning and construction crew.

It'd make little sense to install them at this point in time. They'd die before getting any attention during the construction phase.

I seem recall that happening more than once in the past couple of years. Trees get planted and are in no shape or getting sufficient care to survive.

Today, the last of the glass for the arches. Now this is big glass. Having workers in the frame shows the scale of this Arch.

Sorry for the quality, was not ready. Walking by and notice workers, quickly took out my phone to captured. Then setup for the next glass panel but no activity

The pool extrusion looks really out of place in that photo. Does it look better from street level?

Just checked the sightlines from google street-view and it one wouldn't think anything of it based on how high-up it is.

The way it looks from above is certainly interesting. Almost looks like a skytrain station connected directly to a building (one can dream)

At the prices per unit, that feature should be included

Interesting looking brackets for the arch windows.
I guess the floor will be a few inches above the slab, or there'll be some sort of sill around the windows.

There's some sites where you post the URL of the Instagram post you can get the large format images without being logged in.

Today. Sub-Penthouse glazing begins on the last 5 non breezeway levels.

Here is a gif showing that struggle of a custom install.

Panel #1, one hour and 35 minutes. They will learn and adapt has the work progresses.

Personally I feel it is better this way, as the rectangular structure for the pool will not distract the viewer from the curves of the main structure, which should be the focal point.
