Today, Ironworkers have just a couple more loose ends to tie in, then I'm thinking next week back onto the installation of panels.

More obstructions to give them pause on installing a Derrick Crane

You can see that every 3rd breezeway floor will have a tree since 2 floors are more recessed above them, except when you get to the top 5 floors.

It seems like the top five floors will have some kind of enclosed glass treatment

Hey, you're right, I wondered about that since the 14th floor (12th floor was my first sight line of the build), now we know
I was questioning the privacy in those breeze ways, thinking people will be able to see tenants come and go, the trees will block that view.

That section is part of the sub penthouse and penthouse units, the elevator landing on those floors is much smaller. https://www.livabl.com/vancouver-bc/the-butterfly/condo-plan--01-sub-penthouse#image-All-1

Such a cool design that you come off the elevator on each floor to an open air common space before going in to your unit.

Thanks, that makes sense, but do those suites only have access from 2 elevators?

That’s what it looks like to me, there is a pocket door to the other unit’s side but that’s probably just meant for emergency egress.

Here's the floorplans from the rezoning (not sure if they are out of date or not)

https://web.archive.org/web/201907222032...tions/969burrard/documents/Pg191-209.pdf

The penthouses have private elevators to their roof decks.

Today, balcony glass. I like these (for some people, shoulder height) clear glass panels.

56th floor pre cast panels going in today

This morning.
Interesting, working on a Saturday long weekend, taking down the staging. They must have an important scheduled delivery on Tuesday or early next week, the BMU and tracks?

And the other elevations of the tower in general:

And I see glass bottom pools https://vancouver.ca/files/cov/969-burrard-appendix-d-part-1.pdf Page 56
I'm wondering if they're prefabs and will be craned up to the roof?
As you can tell by my thinking, I'm looking to capture anything swinging 600 feet in the air, swimming pools, H-Vac units, BMU and the tower crane

Today. No prefabricated pools, but captured 2 expensive bottom glass for the pools, deserving of dramatic music for the video, (maybe I over did it on the music )
The penthouse kitchens will have some nice natural lighting.

I'll try again next week.
