Nice to the see the skyline slightly less uniform. Does Vancouver still have those height limits?

Is it just me or am I not seeing a lot of water bombers?.. I've seen footage of wildfires in the past be it here or abroad and much greater presence of these water bombers in the air?.. In light of climate change and the inevitability of more of these fires threatening not just rural but urban settings, perhaps greater investment is needed in firefighting recourses.
It's terrifying to think a whole city like Yellowknife has to evacuate and now an even larger city in Kelowna is under threat. Scary stuff... I really hope we can manage to get these fires under control and these areas catch a break with some rainy weather.

The view from the 20-something floor one of the La Cite towers.

I wish I had my camera with me at the time, but oh well. I'll say that the people who live on the west-side of these towers have got themselves one hell of a view.

amazing what the presence of just 4 new towers makes on Hamilton's skyline. It's only going to get better.

They'd be kind of hidden behind the CN Tower from this view (just to the right of Metro Hall).

Cool angle though, that little bit of elevation really shoes the depth & growing endlessness of the skyline in a way that typical ground-level lakeview shots don't.
