I agree, but, there are a number of different landowners in the Vision Lands, and, despite the city's best efforts, no coherent plan has been developed.
Until all the players sit down together and agree on a plan (rather than fanciful visioning), the majority of the land will remain fallow, and any development that happens will be haphazard.
I totally agree that the city's principle focus should be on the downtown south of Main Street, and, with the principle developers and landowners being Ashford and Lafford, coordination will be much easier to achieve.
