Whatever happened to MOST of the festivals and parades in the downtown core? I did some research and apparently canada gaining its independence is a result of lot of that ending - a lot of the stuff was more british themed - with flags and ticker tape parades.. I'd love to see parades in the core again.. with people hanging out windows..
They even had a tank!
