My memory is a bit fuzzy. They were more friends of my wife so I actually only went inside once for a party. It still had all the original baseboards and casings... I want to say there was crown molding. They had all been renovated and well cared for.
They felt spacious and also had the tall ceilings. I wasn't expecting much when I saw them from the outside.
Still...
Those buildings should have been knocked down and this entire project should have encompassed the entire block.
I wouldn't normally push that hard for a full block acquisition but this project is of a high enough caliber that I think it would be warranted.
