I hope the Federal Government will fund a large addition required to transform the RCMP Heritage Centre into the RCMP National Museum, along with annual funds in perpetuity to operate the museum.
The RCMP Heritage Centre will become only the third National Museum to be located outside of the National Capital Region, the others being Winnipeg's Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and Halifax's Canadian Museum of Immigration.
I admit though, that I have only visited the RCMP Heritage Centre once since it opened.
