Anyways, I've heard that the city has created & opened additional pathways over by Douglas Park so people no longer have to run/walk on the road. Anyone been over there recently to confirm?
Yes, there's a pathway from the Ring Road flyover on Assiniboine down to the corner (so past Douglas Park and Leibel) and down Macdonald (past the hill) to the turnoff to Candy Cane Park and the Science Centre. It's got good separation from the road too. It's great! They paved it around the first week of November or so.
