I believe you are quite wrong with this observation. Box Interior Design was hired when the project was restarted (after the Ritz Carlton and before the Trump flag was signed on). Box resigned from the project and the interiors were then completed by the interiors department of project architect, MCM. Other elements you see in the lobby were also designed by Burdi Filek out of Toronto. Holborn took great liberties with the designs for all areas and really no firm's work was carried out as designed.
