YIMBY has a rendering of the seven-story, 50-unit mixed-use building under development at 668 Bushwick Avenue, located on the corner of Myrtle Avenue in eastern Bushwick. The latest building permits indicate the project will encompass 55,941 square feet and rise 70 feet to its rooftop.
There will be 8,751 square feet of ground-floor commercial-retail space, as well as 11,765 square feet of medical offices across part of the ground and second floors. Fifty residential units will spread across the third through seventh floors, averaging 680 square feet apiece, indicative of rentals.
Genaro Urueta’s Maspeth-based firm is the architect of record. An anonymous Brooklyn-based LLC is the developer. The 11,766-square-foot site’s single-story predecessor was demolished in February. Completion is expected in 2019.
