Our parents were tough for putting up with all those games at freezing cold arenas parking on top of snow banks in the field next door.....something very admirable about that and I something I look forward to dealing with. I figure it is a huge part of the reason hockey families continue to watch hockey long after their kids are finished playing and differentiates itself from other sports. The level of commitment required is miles beyond other sports. You cant be soft.
