Most of the houses in West Brickell are old, but aren't very great architecturally. Like the ones seen here: http://www.goldenduskphotography.com/blog/2015/9/23/miami-city-self-storage-coming-to-west-brickell
This is why it is upsetting because Edgewater does have a architectural character to it and the neighborhood is very charming & walkable. There is a lot of history there as well.
